1/8"-27 NPT — Low Pressure

Nickel-Plated Brass Nitrogen Reservoir Schrader Valve

These are designed for use in small air shocks, such as Harley-Davidson air shocks, as well as lower-pressure air shocks, air forks, and similar applications.

The Schrader valve base features a 1/8"-27 NPT tapered National Pipe Thread and measures approximately 7/8" in total length.

1/8"-27 NPT-HP/T — High Pressure / Temperature

The Schrader valve base features a 1/8"-27 NPT tapered National Pipe Thread and measures approximately 7/8" in total length.

Ideal for: Upgrading FOX Podium and Performance UTV shocks that use rubber pellet or needle-style fill ports to a standard Schrader valve. This allows the use of a standard no-loss nitrogen chuck.

Installation note: On applications using rubber pellet or needle-fill end caps, the end cap must be drilled and tapped to accept this Schrader valve.

316 Stainless Steel Nitrogen Reservoir Schrader Valve

Non-magnetic, marine-grade 316 stainless steel body construction.

The Schrader valve base features a 1/8"-27 NPT tapered National Pipe Thread and measures approximately 7/8" in total length.

It's great that Schmidty stocks these. Far as I can tell, there have been at least 3 different sizes for the various Fox mtb shocks and the 5/16-24 ORB is the one for the DPX2. Schmidty stocks the other sizes too. Price was fair, shipping was prompt, and order arrived early. Perfect.

Had a buddy rebuilding my rear Fox Podium shock on my 05 Polaris predator, and he needed a Schrader valve to replace the existing needle valve, sent me pictures from the website of what he needed. However, the pictures do not correlate/are not labeled to the size drop down menu. So I called the office and spoke with a woman who told me the only size they use for that system was a 1/8th, so I ordered it. Turns out its too small, and I had to make an educated guess on my next order based on the OD of the threads of the existing part. Luckily, I was right, but I still paid about $20 in shipping on 2 parts that are mere grams apiece, one of which I will have to return, costing more in shipping.
