These are High Volume Nitrogen Reservoir End Cap™ from Schmidty Racing Suspensions™ to replace the OEM needle-style fill endcaps found on Fox UTV and ATV shocks as on Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Can-Am, Kawasaki, Arctic Cat, and John Deere models. These are designed to replace the OEM needle rubber nitrogen fill port style endcaps that are found on Fox UTV shocks, which are prone to leaking nitrogen and rendering the shock useless. The rubber pellet system is also semi-difficult to fill and unreliable. Our Schmidty Racing Suspensions™ replacement caps have an actual schrader valve installed in them which are recessed into a pocket to protect them from trail damage. This protective feature also allows the shocks to be serviced and recharged using a standard no-loss chuck!
These reservoir caps are made from billet 6061 billet aluminum and have been black anodized then engraved with our SRS logo. On our newly redesigned caps, we have added cooling fins to the exterior of the caps, as well as increased capacity internally to maximize capacity. These endcaps have an o-ring based "schrader valve cap" which threads onto the schrader valve and seals it into the recessed pocket. This fully protects it from dirt, debris, mud, or sand! Our SRS replacement endcaps also come with a new o-ring for re-installing the replacement endcap back into the shock reservoir, as well as a set of instructions on how to install them.
Note: There are different Generation caps (GEN 1 and GEN 2) and different sizes for the GEN 2. Please be sure to read the description below as well as directions on how to measure your reservoir to make sure you get the correct size and generation cap. GEN 1 reservoir endcaps are only available in 2.0". GEN 2 reservoir endcaps are available in either 2.0" or 2.5".
